Curriculum

Language

Our literacy program fosters the development of skills from learning to read to reading to learn. Our skills include enrichment of vocabulary, phonics, interactive story book reading and so on. Our wide range of skills don't just make our children confident readers but creative thinkers too. Children are introduced to Hindi and Kannada as well in Preparatory II

Themes/EVS

SEL (Social empathy lesson or socio empath learning) is part of our EVS curriculum which covers topics that are tailored towards the prevailing environmental issues (for eg. solar energy at Prep II level or as simple as water conservation at Nursery level). The topics under EVS are carefully chosen to keep curiosity alive and improve general knowledge. We also conduct simple science experiments to enhance learning of theoretical concepts.

Art is a form of creative expression. At Sai Shivani Playschool, we believe that every child is an artist. Our art curriculum offers a wide range of activities, which enables children to think creatively, develop skills and confidence. An example of Art at VSP is Clay modelling. Manipulating a piece of clay helps develop the child's large and small muscles, and improves dexterity.

Moral ideas represent the greatness of humanity and are passed from generation to generation. Here at Sai Shivani Playschool, children are introduced to various shlokas, mythological stories and value added lessons.
